Fold Friends

Swipe to fold, it comes alive

A sheet of patterned paper waits with a single dashed crease line showing. Swipe across it in the direction indicated and the fold executes with a crisp snap. Line by line the shape resolves, and when the last crease lands, the paper blinks, flaps, and walks away as an animal.

How to play

1Swipe across the dashed line, in the direction of the arrow.
2Accuracy is scored per crease, cleaner swipes score higher.
3Finish every fold to bring the animal to life.

What's in it

Generous swipe tolerance, roughly 40 degrees, for thumbs
Works with fast flicks and slow drags alike
Page-turn audio and corner flutter on every crease
Special papers: foil demands accuracy, patterned hides a colour reveal
Speed-fold bonus rounds
No fail state, a wrong swipe crumples and undoes

The meta layer

Every finished animal wanders a growing Paper Park, which unlocks a new biome every twelve folds: pond, meadow, bamboo grove, snow field.
